City Collective

Project Introduction

Cricket is experiencing unprecedented growth across the United States, with over 30 million fans and the rise of Major League Cricket. The Washington Freedom Cricket project seizes the opportunity to shape the sport’s future just outside the nation’s capital.

The development is guided by a cricket-anchored master plan, centred on an ICC-standard oval and a detailed programming brief outlining key adjacencies. It includes high-performance facilities, grandstands, and comprehensive gameday overlay planning to deliver a premier sporting experience.

Beyond the pitch, the precinct integrates a diverse mix of uses, including retail, hospitality, residential offerings, and vibrant public spaces, creating an inclusive, year-round destination for sport and community.
