Project Introduction
The Hidden Valley Motor Sports Complex Master Plan aims to evaluate the current facilities and understand the potential future investments needed to maintain and enhance a high quality motorsport venue. The focus is on serving clubs, leaseholders, and other stakeholders, while exploring additional corporate and event opportunities within the complex. The new master plan will meet the growing needs of the stakeholders, while also aligning with the Northern Territory Government’s goals for sports, tourism, and community development. Additionally, the Master Plan will also provide increased opportunities for existing and attracting new community groups and events to the precinct. The Master Plan process has involved extensive stakeholder engagement in order to assess site wide requirements for upgrades, new facilities, improved servicing and functionality, and visitor experience.
Key Project Challenges
As the premier motorsport venue of the NT, the Hidden Valley Motorsport complex is home to a large number of clubs, racing teams, enthusiast groups and community groups, in addition to elite motorsports interests, and governing bodies. It was important in developing the master plan to consider all these groups when facilitating the developing needs of the venue. As such we have undertaken extensive stakeholder consultation in order to ensure the Master Plan is fit for purpose for all stakeholders.
